Home School Agreement

Agreement for School - The school will do its best to:

1. make sure that your child works hard and is encouraged to do his/her best  

1. contact you as soon as possible, if we are concerned about your child’s work or behaviour

2. get back to you as soon as possible if you write or telephone us

1. welcome parents/carers into the life of the school and keep you informed about general school matters

2. let you know regularly how your child is progressing

3. set your child regular homework tasks including reading

4. offer a broad and balanced curriculum which meets the needs of your child

5. provide a range of extra-curricular activities designed to enrich the children’s school experience

6. provide the best possible learning environment that is safe, attractive and caring

    

   Agreement for Parents/Carers - To help my child do well at school, I will do my best to:

    

1. make sure that my child attends school regularly and is on time for school

2. avoid taking my child on holiday in term time

3. encourage my child to work hard, do all the homework tasks and listen to my child read

4. ensure my child wears the school uniform

5. collect my child on time after school

6. contact the school daily by 9am if my child is absent

7. attend parents/teacher evenings

8. reply to any school correspondence

    

   Agreement for KS2 Pupils - To help me do well at school, I will do my best to:

    

   1  work hard and listen carefully to instructions

   2  read my books to someone at home

   3  do all my homework and catch up with any work I might miss

   4  not miss school and be on time

   5  wear my school uniform with pride

   6  keep the school rules, behave well and be polite and helpful to other pupils and adults

   7  if I am unhappy I will talk to a grown up
